Well, here it is. My first Blogger post. I'm not quite sure how it all works yet. I'm sitting at work, listening to Deliriou5? music - I Could Sing Of Your Love Forever - and I'm right back in 1997/1998. Strange.

Last night I read a book - just fluff, Shadow of the Hegemon, by Orson Scott Card. After I finished the book and his ending note, it was 2:30 in the morning, and I started wondering whether America really is a declining civilization. And if so, what can be done about it. I wanted to catch the sentiment, so I powered up my laptop, and started throwing down thoughts, drafting a letter to our President. I wonder if he actually reads letters people send him?
